Hi everybody! In this post, I will be talking about creating a wall on Padlet with my dear friends Sümeyye, Şilan, and Buse. The wall is about gender inequality in business. I hope you enjoy it.
We were asked to create a wall on a Padlet. On our wall, we created a KWL chart. If you are not familiar with it, K-W-L charts are graphic organizers that help learners in grouping knowledge before, during, and after a unit or lesson. They can be used to introduce new material, reflect on past knowledge, describe unit goals, and assess students' progress. Which is what our teacher aimed at while giving us this assignment. This assignment shows that 21st-century skills in the classroom will help to be creative and to think critically.
On the wall, I worked with my friends Sümeyye, Şilan, and Buse. Padlet was easy to use. I liked the idea that you create a wall with your friends and see their ideas and all. While reading their ideas you get inspired about your work as well.
Our topic was gender inequality in business. It is a topic that bothered me since I was young and still is. Unfortunately, even though there is some progress, gender inequality unfortunately is still present in workplace. On the wall, I talked about how gender diversity can lead to better business. Also, an important step was taken by a public figure. I hope that we can leave a better future for the new generation.
