Welcome back everybody ! Today i will talk about creating a fictional story with my dear friend Sumeyye. Hope you enjoy!!!

For this assignment, we had three choices. My partner Sumeyye and I decided to create a fictional story. The other choices were creating a PSA and HOW TO project. I knew that creating a fictional story won't be easy but still I wanted to try it because it sounded so fun. Now I will tell you about our process of creating a fictional story. You might be needing it in the future, you never know ;)

First, we wrote the script of the story. It was a very fun process because both of us were sharing our ideas. After we wrote the script, it was time for creating the characters. We used Pixton. To be honest, I really liked how detailed you can create your characters. The only problem we had was it is so hard to use. However, after a while, you get used to it so don't worry. Then, we recorded our narrative track on our phones. Lastly, the most challenging part: EDITING. Dear reader, don't worry we survived.

For editing we used Canva. You can create animation from photos. Then, for adding the narrative track, we used Wondershare Filmora. It is very complicated to use but in the end, we got a hold of it. The only problem I had was the watermark... My worst nightmare. Thankfully, I found this incredible website to remove the watermark: 123apps. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the creator.

I think the possible advantage of digital storytelling in the classroom is allowing students to express their creativity by using the target language. Creating a story really challenges you but in a good way. I believe that students enjoy interactive assignments more than writing or reading something in the target language.
